Hello Chefs,
I have some great news and a short update.
Games have cleared US port and have been audited. MOCO is getting prepped to send out games over the next 10 days to:
United States
Canada
Australia
New Zealand
Singapore
Thailand
Taiwan
Hong Kong
Japan
S Korea
Mexico
Malaysia
The boat bound for UK is due in next week. Expecting games to begin shipping from Zatu in the weeks following. I will be sending out another update as those dates come into focus.
Finally, with the fulfillment quickly upon us, I'll be transitioning from the BackerKit pre-order store to www.foodtruckracegame.com for web sales. That transition will happen in the next two weeks. Spare parts, components, expansions, etc will be available for sale there in Feb.
It's all coming together now - excited to share my first game with you all very soon.

Hello Chefs,
Games are on boats heading to Long Beach & UK for fulfillment!
Note: If you have not cleared your shipping and tax fees on Pledge Manager, please do so this week! I don't want shipping costs to delay any games fulfillment!
The boat heading to Long Beach are expected to land and unpack next week. MOCO (Mountain Coast) is our Long Beach fulfillment partner for USA, CAN, SING, ANZ. They will repack games and begin shipping in the coming weeks. More info coming on exactly what to look for from them.
The boat heading to UK are expected to land on/during the first week of February. ZATU is our UK/EMEA/East Asian fulfillment partner. They will repack games and begin shipping within 48 hours of arrival. More info coming on exactly what to look for from them.
We have about 10 folks signed up to represent FTR at Cons this spring and I'd love to add a few more to that list! If you're interested, DM or email me at [email protected].

✅ On Tuesday, you will receive an email from BackerKit notifying you that you will soon be charged for shipping & local taxes. You may also:
Confirm your address before Address Lock (12/31)
Update payment type for fulfillment shipping costs & local taxes (where applicable)
If you need to review your shipping address, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://foodtruckracegame.backerkit.com.
🗓️ I am expecting USA and UK freight to land between Jan 10-20th. I anticipate repackaging and sending out games to backers between Jan 15-30.

What a month... lots of tiny updates to fill you in on - what an exciting time!
Factory Update
Many of you already know this - but we selected DoFine as our game manufacturer. DoFine is a Shanghai-based company with about 10 years of manufacturing experience. Despite being younger in the space, they're hungry, excited to partner with indie producers, and building some really gorgeous games.
The games are assembled, crated, palleted, and finalizing prep before pickup.
Freight
I'm working fast to finalize freight so we can pickup from factory next week and be on boats by Christmas. For my timeline-obsessed backers out there, here's the rough estimate:
On boats by Xmas
5 weeks at sea (by feb 1)
2 weeks reboxing Kickstarter rewards (feb 15)
local delivery (by March 1)
We're on schedule but a bad storm or a port delay could push timelines back - so you'll get more updates from me as we get closer.
Factory Unboxing
Pardon the grainy video but this came directly from DoFine and is the final layout of the interior of the box. I hope you enjoy it!
How To Play / First 3 Turns Update
I'm reshooting the How To Play video with the final components as well as a "first 3 turns" video to help accelerate playtime, even with Pop-Up! (the play2learn game). These will be featured on the website as soon as completed.

November Update

Hello Chefs,
A few notes below, more videos coming in December!
Final Print:
The manufacturer is in final stages of print of all FTR Kickstarter products (base game, expansion, mini-expansion, puzzle, and all the extras). We're expecting to wrap final printing over next 10 days, then it's boxing, crating, and making seaworthy before shipping to UK and US hubs. Will have an update soon on these final stages.
Fulfillment Hubs:
We have two hubs that we'll be shipping from. I'm going through and updating final manifests for freight to hubs.
If you haven't already confirmed your pledge in the Pledge Manager, now is the time to do so!
Fulfillment Readiness:
As soon as games are loaded on boats, I will run final shipping analysis and update fulfillment costs.
The Pledge Manager will automatically ping you when all costs are finalized for shipping and handling fees for your region. This step will let you lock your final shipping address and pay for final shipping. I expect this step to happen in early Jan.
Food Trick Race:
I'm restructuring the game flow of the print-n-play after some really important playtesting feedback. I'm still committed to getting you all an advanced copy, but will need more time over holidays to finesse this new version. Thank you for your patience.
